Happy Birthday, Dad!!

~*~ At the heart of a family's happiness is a dad's love ~*~

We celebrated Dad's birthday, a day early, on Sunday, March 20 at our house!! We all had a lot of fun, as always!! Brian and Shanda and the kids came over, along with Mom and Dad and, of course, the 4 of us! I just love that we can all get together and celebrate these occasions when they come up, especially when the weather is nice enough that the kids can all go out an play! For his birthday, Dad had some birthday apple pies!! And they were delicious. In fact, I'm ready for another party just so I can have some more of the pie! LOL :)! We ate pie, opened presents, drank coffee and had a nice time visiting!! We all hope that Dad had a very happy birthday this year! He is the best dad in the world and we are so lucky to have him for ourselves!! We love him more than he'll ever know. He is always there for us, to lend a hand, lend an ear, give encouragement or advice or sometimes just to keep us company. He is the best example of what a dad should be and he is truly my hero. Thanks for always being such a great dad, Dad!! We love you!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I hope that everyone had a happy St. Patrick's Day this year!!! We celebrated allll day long and the kids loved every minute!! We had corned beef and cabbage for dinner and it was sooooo delicious! I look forward to that meal every year! Although Andy had to go into work Thursday night, we still enjoyed our day and evening!! The kids even had green bath water followed by some awesome green shamrock glow sticks!! They had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!! The next day we took advantage of our leftovers and made rubens...another meal that I look forward to every year! What's not to love about St. Patrick's Day?!?!  Below are some pictures of our day!! Happy Birthday, Mom!!

Last weekend we all got together to celebrate my mom's birthday! We had so much fun!! We celebrated at our house, along with Brian, Shanda, Cole, Tyler, Cody, Heidi and Dad and Mom! The kids always love each other's company and it's always nice spending time with the adults! Having Mom's birthday party at our house is one of the things I look forward to the most each year. It is always so nice! I love doing her cake, decorating the house and having a nice time with the family. I would say that this year was another success! We hope that mom had a very Happy Birthday!! She is the best mother that anyone could ever ever ask for. She is my mom, my friend, a great roll model and so much more! I love her so much and wish her all the happiness in the world, on her birthday and every other day of the year!!
