Wright Days and Summer Fun!

Well, I don't have much news to post, mostly pictures, which speak for themselves! On Andy's 7 off we we enjoyed Wright Days and lots of it's festivities! The kids loved the parade, of course!! Then it was off to the mud races, Garrett's favorite part! Garrett, Emily and Daddy went to the mud races while Wyatt and I stayed at home. He fell asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake him up, plus it was loud and dusty, so I was OK with staying behind! Andy and Garrett got up early on Father's Day to go to the fishing derby that they had at the pond, and Emily, Wyatt and I came a little later on with my mom! After the fishing derby, we were off to the tractor pull. It was tons of fun and Wyatt even enjoyed some tractor watching from the car! We came home later that evening and BBQ'd to finish off our Father's Day celebration! We had a wonderful weekend and I thought I'd share our fun pictures!! Enjoy!!

It's a.....!!!!!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!
We are happy to announce, and welcome with love, our beautiful baby boy, Wyatt James Plaggemeyer!!
Wyatt was born on May 1 and he weighed in at 7 pounds 12.6 ounces and was 20.25 inches long!! He is happy, healthy, and PERFECT! We love him so much and he is the perfect addition to our family!
So here is the story....
I was scheduled for a c-section on May 7. I was already going to the doctor for my weekly appointments and things were looking great. Andy had only 4 night shifts to do and then 3 days and then delivery was supposed to happen. Well, Wyatt decided to shake things up a bit and make his own plans....Andy was off at work (yes, night shifts)...and I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with contractions. I called Andy and told him to come home and I called my parents, who came to the hospital with us to watch Garrett and Emily. Good thing they did too, or else they would have missed the birth! I got checked in, the nurses checked me and sent me straight into delivery as soon as the doctor that was on call that night (early morning) got there! He was born at 5:01 a.m.! It was fast, that's for sure!
Everyone is doing well and settling in nicely!! We are getting into the swing of things and getting into quite a nice routine!! He is almost 6 weeks old!! I cannot believe that!! The kids love him to pieces...and can't seem to leave him alone. They always  want to help me...give him a bath, change his diaper, play with him, hold him....I love that they love their little brother. In fact, Garrett has told me several times, "Mom, I'm glad we got a Wyatt!" What a sweet big brother he is!! And since Wyatt has been born Emily has taken a HUGE interest in her dolls....and I love it! It is so sweet to watch her play with her baby dolls, doing all the things I do with Wyatt to them! We sure have a great bunch of kids and we couldn't be happier! They are the best kids in the world and we love them so much!!
Since Wyatt has been born we've just been enjoying life...and spring/summer to the fullest! We have had some really fun days thanks to this beautiful weather!! This is exactly why he planned a May baby this time!! We celebrated Mother's Day, Andy's birthday, and have spent several afternoons at the park already...not to mention countless days outside in the yard! We planted grass back in March and the yard is coming up beautifully and my flowers are growing like crazy and looking more beautiful than ever!! Andy has finished our landscaping project for the summer!! He has worked really hard on it and it looks AWESOME!! Most of our summer time projects are finished already and life is wonderful!!
Well, that is about all I'm going to post for now! Please enjoy the pictures! I have a gazillion of them, but I'll only post a few!! Enjoy and thanks for reading!!
