Wright Days and Summer Fun!

Well, I don't have much news to post, mostly pictures, which speak for themselves! On Andy's 7 off we we enjoyed Wright Days and lots of it's festivities! The kids loved the parade, of course!! Then it was off to the mud races, Garrett's favorite part! Garrett, Emily and Daddy went to the mud races while Wyatt and I stayed at home. He fell asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake him up, plus it was loud and dusty, so I was OK with staying behind! Andy and Garrett got up early on Father's Day to go to the fishing derby that they had at the pond, and Emily, Wyatt and I came a little later on with my mom! After the fishing derby, we were off to the tractor pull. It was tons of fun and Wyatt even enjoyed some tractor watching from the car! We came home later that evening and BBQ'd to finish off our Father's Day celebration! We had a wonderful weekend and I thought I'd share our fun pictures!! Enjoy!!

It's a.....!!!!!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!
We are happy to announce, and welcome with love, our beautiful baby boy, Wyatt James Plaggemeyer!!
Wyatt was born on May 1 and he weighed in at 7 pounds 12.6 ounces and was 20.25 inches long!! He is happy, healthy, and PERFECT! We love him so much and he is the perfect addition to our family!
So here is the story....
I was scheduled for a c-section on May 7. I was already going to the doctor for my weekly appointments and things were looking great. Andy had only 4 night shifts to do and then 3 days and then delivery was supposed to happen. Well, Wyatt decided to shake things up a bit and make his own plans....Andy was off at work (yes, night shifts)...and I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with contractions. I called Andy and told him to come home and I called my parents, who came to the hospital with us to watch Garrett and Emily. Good thing they did too, or else they would have missed the birth! I got checked in, the nurses checked me and sent me straight into delivery as soon as the doctor that was on call that night (early morning) got there! He was born at 5:01 a.m.! It was fast, that's for sure!
Everyone is doing well and settling in nicely!! We are getting into the swing of things and getting into quite a nice routine!! He is almost 6 weeks old!! I cannot believe that!! The kids love him to pieces...and can't seem to leave him alone. They always  want to help me...give him a bath, change his diaper, play with him, hold him....I love that they love their little brother. In fact, Garrett has told me several times, "Mom, I'm glad we got a Wyatt!" What a sweet big brother he is!! And since Wyatt has been born Emily has taken a HUGE interest in her dolls....and I love it! It is so sweet to watch her play with her baby dolls, doing all the things I do with Wyatt to them! We sure have a great bunch of kids and we couldn't be happier! They are the best kids in the world and we love them so much!!
Since Wyatt has been born we've just been enjoying life...and spring/summer to the fullest! We have had some really fun days thanks to this beautiful weather!! This is exactly why he planned a May baby this time!! We celebrated Mother's Day, Andy's birthday, and have spent several afternoons at the park already...not to mention countless days outside in the yard! We planted grass back in March and the yard is coming up beautifully and my flowers are growing like crazy and looking more beautiful than ever!! Andy has finished our landscaping project for the summer!! He has worked really hard on it and it looks AWESOME!! Most of our summer time projects are finished already and life is wonderful!!
Well, that is about all I'm going to post for now! Please enjoy the pictures! I have a gazillion of them, but I'll only post a few!! Enjoy and thanks for reading!!

Happy Spring!

Hello All!
I figured it was about time for another update! Not much new going on here. Baby is growing and growing and we're down to about 5 weeks left or so!   We have been busy with some spring time projects! We have had some super nice, super warm weather and we decided to take advantage of that! We've planted grass in the backyard and now we're just hoping it comes up! We are also working on some landscaping around our house and that is starting to come together nicely as well! We are loving the nicer weather, but I'm sure Mother Nature won't disappoint us...I'm sure we're still in for some more SNOW! But in the meantime we will enjoy the beautiful weather! Anywhoo, below are a few pics since the last time we've blogged! Enjoy! And who knows...maybe the next blog will include newborn baby photos! :))

Catching up!

I know, I know. It has been a couple of months since my last post. But I've had a few good reasons for this. To start with, once the holiday's got here, life was nothing short of hectic! We enjoyed a nice, quiet Thanksgiving since Andy had to work. His dad and brother (also on his same crew) came over, along with my parents and we enjoyed a nice turkey dinner together. Andy got off work the next morning (Unfortunately, no Black Friday shopping for me...), we got right at putting up all our Christmas decorations! I'm pretty sure that the day we put up all our Christmas decor is my favorite day of the year! Well, it wasn't too long after that when I was considering posting on the blog again, however, to my dismay, our entire family came down sick. It was horrible. I think it is safe to say that those were the two worst weeks I've ever had in my life. They consisted of two visits to the Emergency Room and countless trips to the doctors office and pharmacy. Luckily, we all got on the mend and started feeling better a little before Christmas. However, the chaotic mess left me incredibly behind in my holiday preparations so the last thing I had time for was blogging. So Christmas came and the kids LOVED it that Santa had come! I love these precious memories that we have of our kids!

Our beautiful little girl! (Who refused pictures that day!).

My pride and joy! I LOVE this set!! Be jealous...I have a wonderful husband!

So, Christmas came and went and I had less than a week to get down all the decorations and get ready for Emily's 2nd Birthday Party!! She LOVES Strawberry Shortcake, so that was her theme this year! And I must say, the bright pink and green were super cute! I loved it! We celebrated with family on December 31 and had a blast!! I can't believe our little girl is already 2. Time sure is flying fast but we're enjoying every minute with her. I just love her to pieces....FYI, I can never put piggy tails in her hair again because she is just too darn cute to get in trouble!! :)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Emily!

Emily's birthday party was followed by a New Year's Eve celebration! Emily lasted until about 10 and Garrett stayed up to watch the ball drop! I was impressed...although this was his SECOND year in a row that he stayed up to ring in the new year! Happy 2012!!
Happy New Year!

2012!!

Our kids are so cute!!

I just love them to pieces!

Also my dad...he's the BEST!

So that brings us up to date so far! Nothing too new going on, except for we are continuing in our preparations for Baby Number 3! Reason number 40536 why my blog is behind! I have been organizing, sorting, cleaning, and so much more in this past week! And let me tell you...if feels GREAT!! We are starting to feel ready for this baby to come! Emily will be sharing a room with the baby since she has the larger room. We could move all of our stuff out of the office and turn that into a nursery, but hey, I had to share a room with my sister when I was a kid, and we're normal!! :) Once the baby is here, if it's a girl, it will stay with Emily and it it's boy it will share with Garrett...and him and Emily will get to swap rooms! Either way, we're EXCITED! And speaking of which, I've had a few appointments since my last post....(3 to be exact!). All is well and healthy with baby. One of those appointments was our big 18 week ultrasound and we got a little peek at baby!! Yes, this was the one where they could tell us the gender and we're happy to announce that it's a..............BABY!! It will be a surprise, just like the other two were!! Other than that, I am feeling fantabulous and I have quite a bit of energy to get stuff done now. AND I've been feeling the baby moving around....lots and lots!!! I've been enjoying this for about 10 weeks now and I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world! Anywhoo, that should bring us up to date and I hope I've re-capped enough! Enjoy the pictures!! (And I'll try to do better next time!)!!!!
